Senior pitcher Spencer Lentz (Stillman Valley, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending April 1, 2018. Lentz improved to 2-1 this season as he was outstanding on the mound for Rockford in its NACC opener on Saturday against Dominican. The senior left-hander allowed just one run over his seven innings of work, while striking out four. Lentz cruised through much of his start, retiring seven straight batters at one point before turning the game over to the bullpen in the eighth. He has now won his last two starts and allowed just one run over his last 14 innings of work.
