Junior guard Casey Pettit (Rockford, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending December 25, 2016. Pettit scored a team-high 14 points in Rockford's 57-55 come-from-behind victory over Dominican last Monday. The junior connected on 3-of-6 shots from the field and went a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line including draining the game-winning free throws with 0.2 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. Pettit also dished out 5 assists, grabbed 2 rebounds and had 1 steal.
