Sophomore pitcher Brooke Burris (Galatia, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending March 19, 2017. Burris led Rockford to a 5-0 victory over Beloit on Sunday with her stellar pitching and hitting performances. The sophomore tossed a complete game shutout going all seven innings and allowing just four hits, while striking out five and walking none. Burris was also extremely effective at the plate in the doubleheader going 2-for-5 with a double, two runs batted in, two walks and a run scored.
