Sophomore midfielder Erik Manriquez (Rockford, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending October 18, 2015. Manriquez led the Rockford University men's soccer team to its first Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference win since the 2009 season. He was involved in both of Rockford's goals in the Regents 2-0 win over Concordia University Chicago on Saturday. Manriquez broke the scoreless tie in the 40th minute with his team-leading fifth goal of the season and then recorded an assist on Rockford's goal in early the second half.
