Sophomore guard Trae Blumhorst (Mendota, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending January 18, 2015. Blumhorst had his two best offensive performances of the season for the Regents last week as he averaged 17.5 points while shooting an impressive 63.6% from the field. His best effort came at Benedictine when he scored a season-high 20 points. He also averaged 6.5 rebounds, 2 steals, 1.5 assists and 0.5 blocks.
