Junior Carla Ramirez (Rockford, Ill./Guilford) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending September 22nd, 2013. Ramirez had a perfect weekend for Rockford on the tennis court going 4-0 in her matches on Saturday. Ramirez began her day with an 8-6 win in doubles action and followed that up with a 6-4, 6-1 victory in her singles match against Concordia Chicago. Later in the day, Ramirez picked up right where she left off going 2-0 against Benedictine. She once again won her doubles match 8-6 and then cruised to victory in singles play 6-1, 6-0.
