Sophomore Tom Grammas (Schaumburg, Ill./Schaumburg) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending October 13th, 2013. Grammas shot an 85 on Sunday and followed that up with an impressive 77 in round 2 on Monday for two-day total of +18. His round of 77 was tied for the fourth lowest round of the day on Monday and is the second lowest round of any Regents so far this year. Grammas closed with a very strong back nine (+2) including back-to-back birdies on holes 11 and 12. The sophomore currently sits in a tie for twelfth place and is just one shot out of tenth place.
