Senior forward David Dixon (Bellwood, Ill./St. Joseph) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending January, 5th, 2014. Dixon scored over 20 points in each of Rockford's three games this past week including a 22-point 10-rebound effort in Rockford's 87-82 win over Clarke. The senior was nearly unguardable in the Regents' three games this past week as he knocked down 57.4% of his shots from the floor including 45.5% of his 3-point attempts. For the week Dixon averaged 24.3 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
