Junior cornerback EJ Johnson has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending November 4th, 2012. Johnson had a great game for Rockford on the defensive side of the ball as well as on special teams. The junior recovered a blocked field goal early in the second quarter and ran it back 80 yards for the Regents first score of the game. Defensively Johnson broke up two passes and made three tackles. Johnson also intercepted two passes bringing his Northern Athletics Conference leading total up to seven for the season.
