Junior guard Scott Suchy (Genoa, Ill./Genoa-Kingston) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending December 16th, 2012. The junior guard led Rockford to a 1-1 week shooting 43.3% from the floor and 86.7% from the line. Suchy scored at least 20 points in both of Rockford's games and for the week averaged 21.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
