Junior forward David Dixon (Bellwood, Ill./St. Joseph) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending January 27, 2013. Dixon recorded a pair of double-doubles last week to help Rockford go 2-0 in NAC play. He scored 30 points and recorded 15 rebounds in the Regents overtime win at Wisconsin Lutheran, and then followed that up with 22 points and 15 rebounds in an overtime win at home against Maranatha. For the week Dixon averaged 26 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal while shooting 65.4% from the floor.
