Junior Matt Grimes (O'Fallon, Mo./Fort Zumwalt West) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending April 21, 2013. Grimes helped lead Rockford to a 3-1 week in NAC play and a 3-3 week overall. The junior outfielder went 10-18 last week with 3 doubles and produced four multi-hit games. Grimes also drove in 4 runs and was a menace on the base paths as well stealing 5 bases and scoring 5 runs. For the week he hit an impressive .556 with a .619 on-base percentage and a .722 slugging percentage.
