Senior outside hitter Della Crain has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending Sunday, October 17. Crain poured in double-digit kills in all three of Rockford's matches this past week. Her top two performances came over the weekend in a pair of Regent victories. Crain tallied 20 kills, to average 5.00 kills per set, and recorded a .372 hitting percentage in Rockford's 3-1 win over Alverno. She followed that up with 18 kills, a .429 hitting percentage, 2 solo blocks and a pair of digs in the Regents' 3-1 victory against Mount Mary. For the week, Crain averaged 16.33 kills per match (4.45 kills per set) and had a .361 hitting percentage.Â
