Senior guard Brandon Emerick has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending January 23, 2022. Emerick broke one school career record this past week and is steadily moving towards both breaking another school record and a pair of NACC career records. He scored 18 points on 7-of-15 shooting, including going 4-for-9 from three-point range. His nine three-point attempts gave him 670 for his career and broke the school record. Emerick is now also just 23 made three-point baskets away from tying that school career record, which was set back in 1991 by Mike Szewcykowski (271). Additionally, he is within striking distance of tying or breaking both the NACC career made three-point basket record (263) and the NACC career three-point attempts record (689).
