Outside hitter Jose Padron has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending February 27, 2022. Padron averaged 14 kills per match and 3.50 kills per set to help lead Rockford to a 1-1 record this past week. His best performance came on Saturday in Rockford's thrilling 5-set win over Wabash College. Padron broke the school record with 23 kills and set a new school record by averaging 4.60 kills per set. He also posted a .346 hitting percentage, 8 digs and 1 block to round out his evening.
