Senior Emily Cox has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending March 27, 2022. Cox extended her hitting streak to an impressive 12 games to begin the season with a hit in each of Rockford's two games this past week. She opened with a 1-for-4 performance, including a two-run home run against the reigning NACC Pitcher of the Year and All-American selection. Cox then went 2-for-3 with an RBI in the nightcap. For the week, she had a .429 batting average and an .857 slugging percentage.
