Senior Emily Cox has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending Sunday, April 17, 2022. Cox hit safely in seven games this past week, including five multi-hit games. Her top performance came in a 7-4 win against Wisconsin Lutheran. Cox went 2-for-3 with four runs driven in, two runs scored and broke the RU career home run record with a three-run home run in the third. She finished the week with a .462 batting average, a .533 on-base percentage and an .846 slugging percentage. Cox also had eight RBIs, six runs scored, four doubles and two home runs.
