Junior catcher Candace Kipp has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending Sunday, May 1, 2022. Kipp helped lead Rockford to a 3-3 NACC record this past week, including a win over fifteenth-ranked Concordia University Wisconsin. She went 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored in the Regents' 7-6 win over CUW. Kipp also hit what turned out to be the game-winning, two-run home run with one out in the top of the seventh. Then in game two against the Falcons, Kipp tied the Rockford University single-season doubles record with her 17th double this year.
