Setter Josh Albers has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 26, 2023. Albers helped the Regents to a 1-1 record this past week and led the team in numerous statistical categories. He began with a match-high 24 assists, 6 digs, 2 kills and tied the RU single-game record with 5 service aces in a 3-0 win at Maranatha. Albers then had match-highs in assists (20) and aces (3), as well as 2 digs against Illinois Wesleyan. For the week, Albers tallied team-highs in assists (44) and service aces (8), as well as 8 digs and 2 kills.
