Senior first baseman Ryan Stejskal has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending Sunday, April 2, 2023. Stejskal turned in a pair of three-hit performances last week. He went 3-for-4 in the opener with two doubles and crushed what turned out to be the game-winning, two-run home run in the seventh, which propelled Rockford to a 4-3 win over Edgewood. Stejskal then went 3-for-5 with four RBIs, a home run and a run scored in the nightcap. For the week, he posted a .667 batting average, a 1.556 slugging percentage, had two home runs, two doubles, drove in six runs and scored two runs.Â
