Junior forward Micah Swanson has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 28, 2024. Swanson led the Regents to a 2-0 record in NACC play to help move Rockford up to a tie for 5th in the NACC standings. His best performance came in an important 86-65 win on the road Wednesday night against Lakeland University. Swanson provided a game and season-high 21 points, with a season-high 10 field goals made on a 10-14 (71.4%) day overall. He also added 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks. For the week, Swanson averaged 15.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 blocks and shot a team-high 70.6% from the floor over Rockford's two games.Â
