Junior outfielder Joseph Stagowski has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending Sunday, April 21, 2024. Stagowski was instrumental in leading Rockford to a 3-1 record in NACC play last week. He began by going 3-for-4 with a pair of home runs, including a walk-off home run to lead off the bottom of the seventh, in a 6-5 win over Concordia Chicago. He then went 3-for-5 with another home run in Rockford's sweep of St. Norbert on Saturday. Stagowski posted a .500 batting average, a .600 on-base percentage, a 1.250 slugging percentage, had 3 home runs, scored 7 runs, drove in 4 runs, stole a base, walked twice and was hit by a pitch in Rockford's four games last week.Â
