Senior pitcher Paul Turelli has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending Sunday, May 12, 2024. Turelli was once again brilliant in his final start of the season against the fifth-seeded Marian University Sabres. He went 6.1 innings, allowed just 1 earned run and struck out 7 in a 10-4 victory. He also pitched in relief just two days later against Illinois Tech. Turelli threw the final 1.1 innings and did not allow a run or a hit while striking out 3 batters. Turelli finished the week with a 1-0 record, a 1.17 earned run average and a .172 batting average against.
