Cross Country Course

Rockford University's on-campus cross country course is built around loops of 800, 1600 and 2400 meters. The course contains many sections of abrupt elevation changes, tight corners, challenging footing and is well designed for tactical racing strategies and spectators. The course is half open field and half wooded terrain, which provides the Regents with a variety of terrain to practice on and replicate the conditions specific to cross country racing. Throughout the year, Rockford University hosts several high school events and is capable of hosting small college competitions.
