| Jonathan Rosales Named NACC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week |

| ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced Tuesday morning that Rockford University senior goalkeeper Jonathan Eduardo Rosales has been named the NACC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. Rosales is the first RU men's soccer player to earn a NACC weekly award this season and is just the third Regent goalkeeper to be named NACC Defensive Player of the Week. |

| LOVES PARK, Ill. - The RU men's soccer team (5-5-0, 3-2-0 NACC) found themselves outshot 26-8, but still came away with an impressive 2-0 win against Concordia University Wisconsin (5-5, 3-3 NACC) on Saturday. The Falcon offense had numerous opportunities to get on the board, but was denied each and every time by the Rockford defense. The Regents however, did an excellent job taking advantage of their limited scoring chances during the match. Rockford scored a goal in each half, one off a fast break opportunity and the other off a well-placed corner kick. The 2-0 win gave Rockford its first victory over Concordia Wisconsin since the the two schools joined the NACC for the 2006 season. |
