GREEN LAKE, Wis.- The Rockford University men's golf team competed in the first two of four Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship rounds at The Courses of Lawsonia in Green Lake, Wis. Rockford had four golfers compete in the event which lasted 36 holes.
Justin Christiansen (Rockford, Ill.) once again led the Regents posting scores of 79 and 84 to put him in a tie for 19th place going into the final two rounds of the NACC Championships in the Spring. Francis Souhala (Rockford, Ill.) finished in a tie for 39th place. Aren Boxleitner (Rockford, Ill.) finished in a tie for 42nd place and Alex Schleich (Freeport, Ill.) finished in 48th place respectfully.
Christiansen is currently five strokes back of vying for all-conference recognition in the Spring.
The Rockford University men's golf team will return to action Sunday, April 24 and Monday, April 25 to complete in the final two round of the NACC Championships at Stonebridge Country Club in Aurora, Ill.
