LAKE GENEVA, Wis.- The Rockford University men's golf team returned to the course Sunday and Monday to compete in the MSOE Invitational at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, Wis. The tournament lasted 36 holes and the Regents had four golfers compete.
Once again Justin Christiansen (Rockford, Ill.) led Rockford with a total score of 162 to finish in a tie for 33rd place. Aren Boxleitner (Rockford, Ill.) was the next highest finisher for the Regents with a tie for 65th place. Anders Wermuth (Spring Green, Wis.) finished in 72nd place in his first collegiate event. Alex Schleich (Freeport, Ill.) rounded out the scoring finishing in a tie for 73rd place.
THe Rockford University men's golf team returns to action Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11 to compete in the first and second rounds of the NACC Fall Championships at The Courses of Lawsonia in Green Lake, Wis.
