ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Regents women's golf team had a solid showing in the opening round of the 2021 NACC Championship on Friday. This year's conference championship is a three-day event that features nearly 50 total golfers and is being held right here in Rockford at Aldeen Golf Club. Although the Regents do not have enough golfers to record a team score, Rockford did have a pair of excellent performances from Paige Bukoski and Mikaela Olvera. Bukoski is currently tied for 15th place and Olvera is in 37th place.

• Paige Bukoski shot a career-low round of 94 on Friday during day one of the NACC Championship. Bukoski is in a tie for 15th place and is just four strokes off of the current top ten leaderboard. 
• Mikaela Olvera fired a 110 in the opening round and is currently in sole possession of 37th place. 

Round two of the 2021 NACC Women's Golf Championship will commence on Saturday, October 2 at 8:30 AM at Aldeen Golf Club. Bukoski will tee off at 8:30 AM on hole ten, while Olvera is set to tee off at 9:10 AM on hole ten.
