GREENFIELD, Wis. - The Regents cross country teams returned to the course on Saturday at the Warrior Invitational. It was Caitlin Bitunjac who stole the show for the Regents this week. Bitunjac finished in 7th place and crossed the finish line in 25:50.23, which was the ninth fastest 6k time since women's cross country program was restarted for the 2004 season. On the men's side it was
Marcus Porchia and
Ryan Sweeney who each set new personal records in the 8k.

Women's Cross Country
- There were a total of 74 runners in the women's 6k race.
- Caitlin Bitunjac turned in the best performance of her collegiate career. Bitunjac finished in 7th place with a time of 25:50.23. Her time was a new personal record and also the ninth fastest 6k time since the women's cross country program was restarted for the 2004 season.
- Li McQueeny finished in 45th place with a time of 30:35.66.
- Abigail Wagner crossed the finish line in 33:27.42 to finish in 60th place.
- Nopparat Chiangtong finished in 61st place with a time of 33:50.67.
Men's Cross Country
- There were a total of 58 participants in the men's 8k race.
- Marcus Porchia had the highest finish for the men's team. Porchia finished in 30th place with a personal best time of 32:12.05.
- Ryan Sweeney crossed the finish line in 32:45.00 to place 33rd in the race.
- Enrique Perez finished in 52nd place with a new personal best 8k time of 38:41.83.

The RU cross country teams return to action on Friday, October 15 at the Bradley University Pink Classic.
