Natalie Threatt Earns All-NACC Recognition at the NACC Women's Golf Championship

HARTFORD, Wis. - The Rockford University women's golf team finished the fall portion of its schedule on Sunday at the final round of the 2023 NACC Championship. Although the Regents did not record a team score, the ladies were still able to make history. Freshman Natalie Threatt finished in a tie for ninth place and became the first ever RU women's golfer to earn All-NACC recognition. Aurora won the team championship by 68 strokes (+153) and Marian's Yinan Lu took home the individual title by 12 strokes (+22).

  • Freshman Natalie Threatt capped off an impressive 2023 NACC Championship with yet another solid round of golf on Sunday. Threatt carded an 84 on Sunday, to go along with earlier rounds of 82, 87 and 88. She finished the NACC Championship with a score of +53 and in a three-way tie for ninth place overall. Natalie also becomes the first RU women's golfer to ever earn All-NACC honors. 
  • Paige Bukoski knocked 6 strokes off her score from Saturday. Bukoski fired a 94 over the 18 holes and finished in 35th place. Her overall score for all four rounds of the 2023 NACC Championship was +100.
