MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Rockford University women's golf team won the Alverno Dual on Friday afternoon to open the 2023 season. The Regents beat the Inferno by a total of 43 strokes (+160 to +203) and had the two lowest rounds of the day. Natalie Threatt won the dual with an 85 and Paige Bukoski shot a 91 to finish second. This marks the first time the Regents have won a meet and had individual golfer finish in first in the four-year history of the program.

• Natalie Threatt became the first RU women's golfer to win a meet in the four-year history of the program. Threatt shot an 85 to win the dual by 6 strokes. 
• Paige Bukoski fired a 91 to finish second. 
• Kyla Wilkerson finished in fifth place with a 122. 
• Amelia Rodriguez carded a 150 and finished in eighth.
• Alexis Brashaw placed ninth with a round of 151.
