ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced its 2025-26 Women's Basketball preseason poll on Wednesday morning.
The Rockford University women's basketball team was selected 13th in the first poll. Wisconsin Lutheran College, the defending co-regular season champions and NACC tournament champions was picked first with 16 first-place votes. St. Norbert College, who shared last year's regular season title with Wisconsin Lutheran College, was picked second with 10 first-place votes.
The Regents finished in 11th place last season and finished with a 5-18 overall record, finishing 4-12 in conference play.
RU will open up the season on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at Cornell College at 7 p.m. CDT. The regents will open up NACC play on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at St. Norbert College at 7 p.m. CDT.
