Rebekah Starwalt has been named the NACC Women's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week. Starwalt becomes the first RU women's cross country runner to receive the award since the 2013 season and only the second person ever in program history.
Rebekah Starwalt finished 47th overall and eighth among NCAA Division III runners at the Vic Godfrey Open, which featured a tough field consisting of multiple NCAA Division I and Division II schools. She completed the 4k race in 16:27.6 with an average mile time of 6:37.3.
The Rockford University cross country teams return to action on Saturday, September 20 at the Tom Hoffman Invitational. The women's race has a scheduled start time of 10:45 AM.
