KENOSHA, Wis. - The Rockford University men's and women's cross country teams finished seventh and sixth respectively at the Vic Godfrey Open on Friday afternoon. The men ran in a 6k race that featured 103 runners with eight schools recording a team score. The women ran a 4k race that had 99 runners and 9 schools recording a team score.
Miles Lang and Rebekah Starwalt were the top performers for the RU men's and women's teams with 29th and 47th place finishes respectively.

Men's Results
- Miles Lang was the top performer for the RU men's team for the second straight meet this season. Lang finished the 6k race in 20:07.2 and took 29th place.
- Nicholas Greenland came in 48th place with a time of 21:10.6.
- James Wallis crossed the finish line in 21:15.9 to finish in 50th place.
- Gavin Collier completed the 6k race in 22:42.5 and came in 83rd place.
- JJ Newlin finished in 96th place with a time of 24:01.2.
- Michael Roberson placed 103rd with a time of 33:51.1.
Women's Results
- Rebekah Starwalt was the top performer for the Regent women once again. Starwalt finished the 4k race in 16:27.6 and came in 47th place.
- Brianna Torres finished in 49th place with a time of 16:35.2.
- Isabella Trout completed the race in 17:46.6 to finish in 65th place.
- Haylee West crossed the finish line in 18:11.9 to place 72nd.
- Donna Whiteside finished in 83rd place with a time of 19:57.6.
- Malia Niles came in 89th place and crossed the finish line in 22:08.8.
