Holli Hall

Holli Hall was named Director of Sports Medicine in January 2026. She has also been serving in an additional role as Senior Woman Administrator since July 2025.  Hall joined the Rockford University Sports Medicine Staff in September 2011 as a Certified Athletic Trainer and was promoted shortly after to Head Athletic Trainer in July 2012. Hall also serves as the designated NCAA Athletics Health Care Administrator for the University, a role she has had since 2017.

Hall oversees the daily treatment, care, and rehabilitation of the University’s student-athletes, and is involved with the majority of the athletic teams to varying degrees. In addition to working with the student-athletes, Hall also collaborates and serves as the liaison between team physicians, sports medicine staff, coaches, and the University’s Wellness Center.

Prior to coming to Rockford University, Hall spent time working as a graduate assistant and an undergraduate student in the athletic training department at Eastern Illinois University. While at Eastern Illinois, Hall performed various duties ranging from assisting professors with athletic training lab activities to supervising and mentoring undergraduate athletic training students. Hall also worked with various athletic programs at Eastern Illinois including: football, women’s volleyball, women’s rugby, and the men's soccer program.

Hall is a Board-Certified Athletic Trainer through NATA-BOC, a Licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Illinois, holds a BLS provider certification through the American Heart Association, and has had professional affiliations with NATA, GLATA, and IATA since 2009. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2009 where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and Sport Studies with a concentration in Athletic Training. Hall continued her studies at Eastern Illinois and received her Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and Sport Studies with an emphasis in Cardiac Rehabilitation in 2011.

Hall, a Rockford, Ill. native, currently resides in Machesney Park, Ill. with her wife, April, and their two children, Scarlett and Jeffrey (JJ). She enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, boating, and attending University events.
