Jaelen Ray is one of the graduate assistants in Rockford’s football program. He is leading the Regent's quarterback room.
Ray grew up and played high school football in Kissimmee, Fla. He started four years at QB for Rockford, where he put together a record-breaking career from 2021-2024. He holds 18 total records, single game, season and career records for passing yards, attempts, completions, touchdowns, completion percentage, and total offense for the Regents. Ray was an All-NACC Honorable Mention as a freshman and sophomore and Second Team as a junior and senior. He was the RU Male Breakout Player of the Year in 2022.
Ray earned his bachelor’s in Accounting and minor in Business from Rockford University in 2025. He is currently working towards his MBA.
