Will Hissong is one of the baseball graduate assistants for the 2026 season. He will primarily work with pitchers.
Hissong finished his playing career at Rockford in the spring of 2025. He was an All-NACC Honorable Mention in 2024 & 2025, and graduated as the all-time and single-season saves leader in program history. He also holds the single-season appearance record. Hissong is also the head coach for the Rockford Baseball Academy.
Hissong earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from Rockford University. He also attended Rock Valley College where he earned his Associate's degree. He is currently working towards his masters.
