Sophomore pitcher Nathan Mulzer (Neenah, Wis.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending March 13, 2016. Mulzer was brilliant on the mound last week for Rockford picking up a win and his first collegiate save. In his lone start of the week, Mulzer went 6 innings allowing 0 earned runs while striking out 5 to earn his first win of the season. He then came in relief on two separate occasions later in the week. In the first he went the final 1.2 innings against Hiram allowing 0 runs and 0 hits while striking out 3 to pick up his first collegiate save. His final appearance came against Bethel when Mulzer tossed 1.1 innings again allowing 0 runs and 0 hits while striking out 5 batters including fanning 4 in a single inning. For the week Mulzer fired 9 innings allowing 0 earned runs while striking out 13 hitters.
