Freshman forward Zach Wallace (Rockford, Ill./Belvidere) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending February 9th, 2014. Wallace's offensive and defensive presence in the post helped lead Rockford to a 1-1 week and keep the Regents' postseason hopes alive. The freshman began his week with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocks in Rockford's win over Dominican. He followed that up by scoring 12 points, getting 4 rebounds and blocking 2 shots on the road at Edgewood. For the week Wallace shot 52.4% from the floor and averaged 13.5 points, 5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game.
