Senior Jacob Arnold (Romeoville, Ill./Plainfield North) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending February 16th, 2014. In the three events Arnold ran in, he was within 0.5 second of breaking a school record in two of them and established a school record in the third. His time of 7.35 seconds in the 60 meter dash was just 0.23 seconds off his own school record. In the 200 meter dash, he completed the race in 23.64 seconds which is only 0.34 seconds behind the school best. Arnold was also a member of the 4x200 relay team that established a Rockford University best by completing the relay in 1:39.57.
