Senior Jessica Bjerning (Wauconda, Ill./Mundelein) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending April 6, 2014. Bjerning continued her hot hitting posting a .400 batting average, .520 on-base percentage, and a .600 slugging percentage for the week. The senior had 4 doubles, drove in 6 runs, scored 2 runs and stole a base to help lead the Regents to a 4-4 week. Currently Bjerning ranks sixth in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference in on-base percentage (.516) and seventh in batting average (.434).
