Sophomore Barbara Duffy (Tampico, Ill./Prophetstown) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending February 3, 2013. Duffy scored a total of 11 points for the Regents last Saturday at the UW-Parkside Classic. The sophomore won the 400 meter dash crossing the finish line in 1:04.20. She also took 8th out of 42 participants in the 200 meter dash. Duffy also broke her own school record in the event when she posted a time of of 28.35 seconds, a full half second better than her previous record.
