Sophomore pitcher Michael Kiviranta (Schaumburg, Ill./Hoffman Estates) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending March 17, 2013. Kiviranta was outstanding on the mound in his first two starts of the season. For the week he surrendered just one earned run for a 0.63 earned run average over his 14.1 innings of work.
