Relief pitcher Christian Dahlstrom has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending Sunday, April 24, 2022. Dahlstrom went 1-0 with a pair of saves in his four appearances last week. He began by throwing the final five innings and earning the win Rockford's 13-inning game against Beloit. Dahlstrom allowed just two hits and no runs, while striking out a career-high ten batters. He then threw the final 1.1 innings, allowing no runs and striking out the side in the ninth on Saturday at Lakeland to earn the save. Dahlstrom concluded his week by pitching a perfect ninth in game two on Sunday and earning his second save in as many days. He finished the week with 10.1 innings pitched, a 2.61 ERA and 17 strikeouts to average 14.81 strikeouts per 9 innings pitched.
