Senior guard Anthony Espensen has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 19, 2025. Espensen led the Regents in scoring and notched his first double-double in Rockford's two NACC games last week. He opened with 18 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal in Rockford's win at Illinois Tech. Espensen followed that up with a career-high 27 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and a block at home against MSOE. For the week he shot 48.5% from the floor, 46.7% from three-point range and was perfect at the free throw line. He averaged 22.5 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 0.5 blocks and 0.5 steals.Â
