ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Regents Men's Soccer team fell to Maranatha Baptist Bible College 4-0 at Sam Greeley Field Saturday morning. The Crusaders jumped out to quick 3-0 lead midway through the 1st half and found the back of the net one more time in the second half for the 4-0 victory. 

Rockford was able to control the ball in Crusader territory for much of the game but bad passes and turnovers did them in as they were unable to find the back of the net against Maranatha. Turnovers led directly to one Crusader goal and set up two others en route to the 4-0 win. The Rockford offense was led by senior Nathan Sweet (Flint, Mich./Grand Blanc). Despite not recording a shot, Sweet was able to give the Regent offense some good looks off his corner kicks and free kicks. 

The Regents will return to action October 2nd against Wisconsin Luthern at 3:30 p.m. at Sam Greeley Field.
