FOND DU LAC, Wis. - It was another difficult night for the RU women's volleyball team as the Regents fell in straight sets on the road to the Marian University Sabres. Rockford was never really able to get on track as the Regents fell behind early in each of the three sets and were forced to play catch up for the entire evening. Rockford's best opportunity to win a set came in third when the Regents were able to scratch and claw their way back to within a couple of points on multiple occasions. However each time the Sabres responded by scoring the next point and eventually closed the match on an 8-1 run to seal the 3-0 win.

Offensively Rockford was led by the duo of Alex Storey (Dexter, Mich.) and August Guest (Lahaina, Hawaii). Both Storey and Guest tied for a team-high 7 kills. Storey also added 4 digs and 2 assists while Guest tallied 2 digs. 

Senior Taylor Rossi (Ingleside, Ill.) had another excellent evening as she led the Regents with 16 assists and also added 5 digs, 4 kills, 2 service aces and 1 block assist. 

The RU women's volleyball team returns to the court on Saturday, October 15 at Lakeland University. The match has a scheduled start time of 11:00 AM.
