LOVES PARK, Ill.- The Rockford University women's soccer team returned to action today celebrating Senior Day against Monmouth College. The team celebrated six seniors; Morgan Bell (Rockford, Ill.), Heather Kiran (Mt. Prospect, Ill.), Melissa Macias (Posen, Ill.), Gris Mendoza (Rockford, Ill.), Ali Moore (Mascoutah, Ill.) and Giovana Ortega (Rockford, Ill.). The Regents were also concluding their season after the match. Rockford was unable to do much offensively falling by the final of 8-0. 

Leading the Regents on the year were junior Lexie Collins (Earlville, Ill.) who led the team with 11 goals and 6 assists. Collins will be a major piece to the team's success in 2017. Senior Giovana Ortega was second on the team with 6 goals and 5 assists on the season. Gris Mendoza led the team in saves with 155. Mendoza also led the team with three victories. Rockford concluded their season with three wins on the season.
