MADISON, Wis. - The Rockford University men's soccer team hoped to return to the win column on Wednesday afternoon as the Regents hit the road to take on the Edgewood College Eagles. Unfortunately the Regents struggled from the onset of the match as the Eagles scored a trio of goals in the first 28 minutes to take a commanding 3-0 lead entering halftime. Edgewood did not let up in the second half as the Eagles added three more goals in en route to a 6-0 win. The Eagles pressured the Rockford defense the entire match as they outshot the Regents 32-6.

The RU men's soccer team returns to action on Saturday, October 1 at MSOE. The match has a scheduled start time of 3:30 PM.
