CHICAGO, Ill. - The Rockford University women's soccer team hit the road for the first time in almost a month on Thursday evening to take on the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks. Unfortunately the match was all Scarlet Hawks from the onset as Illinois Tech scored a trio of goals in the first six minutes and took a 9-0 advantage into halftime. Illinois Tech would add three additional goals in the second half en route to a 12-0 victory.

The RU women's soccer team returns to the field on Saturday, October 7 at Lawrence University. The match has a scheduled start time of 11:00 AM in the Banta Bowl.
